Rural/Metro was created as an answer to a need. This is true of many great organizations, and especially those whom aspire to help others. The need was formed and answered first in the rural sector of our country, over 50 years ago, and has since grown to many major metropolitan areas across our nation. read more

Our Services
Rural/Metro Ambulance provides emergency and non-emergency treatment and medical transportation throughout the Pacific Northwest, including 911 emergency service in Pierce County. Our service areas include Whatcom, Snohomish, King and Pierce counties in Washington state, in addition to the Salem area and beyond in Oregon. Our levels of service include Basic Life Support (BLS); Critical Care Transport (CCT); Advanced Life Support (ALS); Alternate Transport Service (ATS / Cabulance) and Bariatric Units.
